I’m an independent videographer based in Virginia. I produce documentaries all over the world aboard National Geographic ships for my main client Lindblad Expeditons. On any given voyage I am sole director, script writer, camera woman, editor, post production engineer, you name it; anything you can do shooting in the field and editing in an unstable ship’s cabin. I’m generally on a ship for about a month at a time, producing videos for several voyages, start to finish, usually each within a week, the guests taking the finished DVDs home with them. At home in Virgina I produce documentaries, training videos, oral histories, promotions, and webcasts and also freelance shoot and edit for other producers. Recently I have joined the video production team of Friends of the Shenandoah River, working on video projects to raise awareness and funds for the restoration of the Cheasapeake water basin.
